In celebration of our 25th anniversary, Our Kids is launching a Looking Back feature to run in our print guide and online. To that end, we’re gathering photos and stories that communicate how camp has impacted the lives of campers 25 years ago, and what the experience means to them now.
How to get involved:
- Contact anyone that attended your camp around 1998
- Ask them to answer our quick 5-minute questionnaire here (includes sharing two photos with us, one from camp in 1998 and one current photo)
- The deadline to submit is December 31, 2021
Where it will be promoted:
- In our 25th anniversary magazine (home-delivered in February 2022)
- Online across OurKids.net and Camps.ca
- Via email and social media
We all know camp changes lives, and we can't wait to hear the impact it had on your alumni. Please reply to [email protected] to confirm you’re interested in participating and being featured.
Should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us, or simply reply to this email.
In addition to a range of features in the upcoming print guide, I’d like to throw some light on family camps and leadership programs. If you run either, please let me know by responding to this email.
WEBINAR
How to communicate during times of change
Wednesday, Dec. 1 at 1:30 p.m. EST
When circumstances change, and when our fancy marketing campaigns fail to perform, we must revisit basics. In this webinar, rather than introducing you to a new tool or a mindset, we’re going to discuss some of the classic consumer behaviours during times of uncertainty, and how to leverage them to our advantage.
